There are a few ways that you can use this type of promotion that can be used alone or in combinations.  We give you a complete array of materials to help you enact the strategy that we are talking about here.  The mix of special pieces, posters,  newsletter, ads, newspaper inserts, letters, appointment reminder cards, postcards, calendars, etc is designed to increase effectiveness when used in combinations (materials in kits vary.)   There is a wide enough variety of printed and reproducible materials to reach your target market more than 5 times with the message, to get their attention, keep your message in the forefront of their minds and make your name memorable.  The message and graphics are designed to motivate people to action.

Safe Gardening Practices -
You can do a Safe Gardening Practices Saturday.  Teach people how to lift and how much they should be lifting, etc.  Make sure that you are doing screenings on that day or offering some sort of special service or product to try.  You can also network with a garden center and have someone come in and teach how to plant either a container, a butterfly garden, or something else that interests you.  (Always do something that is in an area of interest to you, because you will do better and put more energy into the effort!)  The Garden Center can promote the event to their client base and you can reserve a special time for them.  You are basically doing a reciprocating type of marketing where you are marketing to each other's base when you do this. 

Internal Marketing
Pass materials out to your patients and make sure that you invite them to bring their family and friends along.  It is important that you screen or talk to every person who walks through your door.

External Marketing
Network with the Garden center to market to their client base or any business that deals with females.  You can also use any of the mass marketing vehicles.

Mother's Day Flowers -
Internal Marketing
Get two buckets of flowers.  Tag one of the buckets with a Happy Mother's Day tag from you.  You will give everyone of your female patients one of these flowers.  Then get a second bucket and tag it with a "Happy Mother's Day Gift Certificate" tag.  You will give these flowers to everyone who walks through the door. . .to pass on to a Mother or special person in their life.  They will be giving out a sentiment of good will with a gift certificate for care.  You need to determine what you want the gift certificate is for.  Do what you are most familiar with or any combination of products or services, for example, free spinal screening, x-rays, or first adjustment, etc.

External Marketing
